Cool KX-TDA15/30 vs TX-TDA100/200

I'm looking to put in one of the above PABX systems in a large house / small business environment (probably 2 lines, 10 extensions, 1 fax, 2 door releases, 2 door phones).

My main question is functionality - aside from each model been able to do all the basics I need (phone, paging, intercom, monitoring, door release) is there any real difference in the 'usability / functionality' of each system?

Cheers, Antony.

In this environment, no. There is a fairly large price difference, as the 30 will be about 2/3 or so the price of the 100. In our U.S. version, the 50 comes equpped 4x4 and you would add an 8 port extension card and a dorphone card. In the 100, it comes 0x0 and you add an 8 port trunk, 16 port digital station and door phone card which fits on an option card. That drives the price up pretty high and fast. The software for the -4 50 and the 3.2 100 is the same here, with few differences.

Where does the 50 fit in in the 15 / 30 100 / 200 scale in terms of add-on cards? (i.e. do you need an OPB3 + DPH4 in this model or just the matching DPH4.)

Oddly the second hand pricing on the 30 vs 100 model is often very similar... I suppose its the cost of the extra cards (on the larger models) that would be the killer.

Cheers, Antony.

Also condisider that the TDA15 is primarily an ISDN2 system - don't expect to connect many analaogue trunks to this system

Our 50 is like your 30. You don't need the OPB3 board for DPH.
