Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Connect Ip-phone (ie. linksys) to ipext16 card on kx-tda200 Hi, I'm configuring a kx-tda200, everithing is connected, I'm using the software console. The system has 2 IPEXT16 card extension, and I want to connect no IP-PT telephones to this card. We made the test connecting the software phone and works fine (registering process), as well as a kx-136 IP-PT phone (to check the card was working fine) (I don't remmenber the exact model of the phone). All the IP-related stuff is correct. We are trying to connect some phones from linksys sp901 and 941, but, we can't get the registration process to work. They are G771 protocol capable (used by panasonic). (this phones don't have the PBX IP to configure) The question is: - Is there a process to configure this kind of phones (no IP-PT)? - The conection should be via SIP? - Is this a port (UDP) number configuration problem? - The card only support IP-PT phones from panasonic? Any help would be apreciated. Thank's in advance

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ok, let me change the cuestion... The card ip-ext16 accepts connection/registration from devices that aren't IP-PT ? For example, SIP capable telephones? to use them as extensions... If the answer is true, is there any reference I can check, like ports/recommended configuration/SIP config ? no talking only for linksys products. thank's in advance

Location: York Rep Power: 6 ![]() | The IP-EXT cards are for Panasonic proprietary IP telephones only. You can only connect the NT265 or the NT136 telephones to them (including softphones). These cards do not support SIP protocol (in the UK anyway). If you want to use 3rd Party SIP extensions, you will need a KXTDE system, DSP card and SIP extn license keys. If you want to install a Proprietary Panasonic IP extn on a remote location, you must do this via VPN. The phones will only connect on the same subnet and not by forwarding IP ports. Make sure you can set up a VPN tunnel between your routers.
