how to change exstension number

please help me how to change extension number on PABX Panasonic TDA 100
and howto make 0 to be operator number ..sorry i'm newby in here..please

do you not have pc programing console? ext numbers
can be changed there or through the keypad in 2 mins flat

i dont have pc programing console ..i'm looking for those programmator..ould you tell me where i can get it?...i already install the line and they are working but i can't change the extension number ..please help me

you may find 0 has been used as idle line accsess code

it's the same with program *#1234 003 enter enter but didn't make any change the ext e.g the preset ext 117 and i want to change become 801 i'll try but didn't change..sorry my question make you angry but i really need help about that problem..by the way thanks for your help if you have any way to help please tell me..

I'm guessing your box wasn't designed for your country. That is clearly obvious since the numbering plan is American/European.

Extensions are mapped 1xx2xx3xx4xx5xx and so on. 8 is the access code for trunks. I don't know, or care, what you're using to try to change the numbering plan, but the first thing you ought to do is try changing trunk access codes to something like *8, then you can map extensions with first digit 8.

The same works for Dial 9 and 0 except you have to change, say 0 to *0, apply it, then change 9 to 0 and 0 to 9.

How simple is that?

i did give a hint carl if you noticed when I said that 0 may be the equivalent to our dial 9 not but he no get it.... and we all know
what 801 does over here suprised this fella actually got outside
dialtone on the system.
