Rep Power: 0  Country:  | Ring through external paging? Hey there Im new to these forums and have read quite a bit and im hoping someone can help. I am using a KX-TA824 and my customer wants the phone to ring through the external paging port so he can hear the phone ringing from outside (Its a tire shop) The speaker work great for external paging but cant figure out how to configure to hear the ringing Thanks in advance | ||||||||

Bogen makes an NR-100 which will take an extension or a contact closure and send a signal over the page port. It requires a -24 volt supply of about 25 ma..like the EPS-2401. http://www.bogen.com/products/pdfs/s...dfs/NR100s.pdf gets you to the spec sheet. Viking Electronics also has an equivalent. Rep Power: 0 Gender: Country:  | Not the best way but the cheapest is to use a self amplified horn ***( if the ring over page box is not loud enough)*** other wise a paging horn can be added to the ring box aswell and sauder the connections to the speaker of EXT you would like to ring on the horn , doing this will also make any speaker phone calls fromt this extension play over loud speaker, unless the handset is picked up *this will also provide for a loud speaker for paging that ext./ or the page all/ group feature Last edited by vivid; 10-11-2007 at 11:10 AM. | ||||||||
