KX-TA824 w/ TVA50 allow for PBX Control

Hello,

I have not experienced this problem before. The TVA50 has the port setting in setup for PBX Control for Time of Day routing and is in sync, however it won't use the KSU Time of day information. The only way I was able to get this system to work properly for day and night routing was to use the TVA50 set to auto and then setup the Time of Day routing in the TVA50 separate from the KSU. Has anyone seen this before?

Thank you,

do you have all four wires hooked up to both voicemail ports on the
tva does it actually say you have apits integration (does live call screening work?)
have not done many ta's that feature may only work on td/tda

sncsnc, you are correct it sounds like he is doing dtmf integration. And yes that feature works with those systems.

It runs to mind it's pretty straightforward. You set up APT in the switch, use the default setup for 824 APT and PBX control of lines 1-6 in Service group 1, run 2 4-pin cables to ports 7&8 or 15&16 and it's automatic.

Thank you for all the great comments. As Carl mentioned, I believe I have these items setup correctly, however I will double check. I am using the 4 conductor line cords from Ext. ports 7 and 8 to the TVA. Will check things out. Thanks
