kx-tda 100 delay answering

we are using kx-tda 100. before the operator can answer the call she needs to wait for at least 5 seconds so the other line can hear her voice.

there is at least 5 seconds delay before the operator can talk .

we are using kxt7630 handset.

and also we are using external auto attendant, its a EVM2006A-3E.

I want to know how to lower the delay time before she can answer the call.

the other line think that she is not answering the call because the other line hear only ringing but actually the operator is just waiting for the phone to finish the delay before she can talk.

please help. thanks

(i am from Philippines I already edited some of my information in my profile but the flag doesn't show)

unfortunatly your friend is right !! the EVM200-6 is where the problem lies and nothing you do on the TDA-100 will fix it. this is an annalogue V/M system so there isnt any intergration with the phone system at all
the problem is once a incomming call is recieve and the auto attandent takes over the v/m places the call in hold and it rings to a group the v/m holds onto the call in hold and waits for an answer, when an answer is recieved from the group at this time the person who answered is played a message (you have a call) this message has most likly been removed (but the gap remains) the call is then connected.
the only things i can surgest is
1 . ask the v/mail installer to set the v/m system to( transfer and forget )
2. put in a panasonic voicemail system
