Barclay Enterprises Panasonic Keypad Lies

Regarding KX-TGA200b & KX-TGA400b phones....

Barclay Enterprises has spent the last year bashing our membrane keypad repair and our lifetime warranty while falsely claiming all along that Panasonic had fixed the keypad problems. His keypads were flawless! And our keypads were Franken-Phone....

Now he is blatantly copying our old membrane keypad repair, saying it's the best thing since sliced bread. Even better than our new and properly designed keypad! More importantly... he now admits he was lying all along about the original Panasonic keypad.

Too bad it's too late to inform all those customers he promised a working keypad over the last year....
Oh well, mistakes happen!

Visit Barclay's Google cache page where he bashed our membrane keypad and our lifetime warranty for over a year: HERE then use the "current page" link at the top to view how it's recently been changed.
This will only work for a short time. When Google caches the page again all evidence will be lost. Barclay is counting on this.

Now visit his new ad for their new membrane keypad and lifetime warranty where he admits the original keypad was flawed all along! HERE

Sorry, a trade mark on our old membrane keypad does not make it better! In the past, our membrane keypad was the only solution available for these phones. Now we have replaced it with a properly designed rubber keypad that has the correct contact size. Any claims that the old technique is better are simple fantasy.... right down to his references to the space shuttle! It's cheaper? Yes!... Easier? Yes!... But better?

Barclay's membrane keypad comes with it's own shortcomings and still relies on the original defective keypad to work. Membrane keypads do not significantly increase the contact size (see our simple example here). His membrane keypad does not protect all the buttons from the sticky oil the original keypad produces. He falsely claims the oil is from human spit. He knows better but still needs this lie to have the "only permanent keypad repair in the industry". Rubber keypads are rubber gaskets. It is sealed (with pressure) and there is no way for spittle to get in. Not to mention we provided Barclay with this link to a page on the topic 8 months ago. You can read all about the spittle theory on his Perma-Pad web page or you can see his keypad failure prevention guide HERE that he provides to his unsuspecting customers after repair. "Environmental Gunk" was the top warranty voiding excuse on his extended keypad warranty all along.

Links to our old eBay auctions over a year past. Proving we had the first membrane keypad.

Panasonic keypads for the KX-TGA200b & KX-TGA400b phones have TWO MAJOR defects. The contacts that are far too small and cheaply made so they ooze sticky oil over time clogging up the works. The keypads have a 100% failure rate, average life 8-16 months. These phones are discontinued and in high demand making repair profitable and a valuable service to the customer.
