Phantom Extensions

This is the first time I have ever had to deal with phantom extensions and I am stumped! It's a KX-TD1232.

Have gone into program 124 and set up phantom extension 001 as ext 100. When I try to program ext100 as a button on the phone it won't work.

I am probably just missing something important, any ideas?
Thanks
Thomas

Are you trying to do 1 100 or 72 100? I guess the 72 gotcha

Oh, Thomas. Before you ask, next go into station programming, press the new phantom button twice and dial 2 STORE to make it ring or 1 STORE to turn it off......

Carl, thanks for the response. I don't think I quite understand what you mean. I should assign ext 100 as phantom ext 72 instead?

Pressing the DSS button twice gives me the ring selection menu.

Thanks,Thomas.
