I suspect the problem is with the upgrade.

Did you just upgrade the software? If you did, the system will still only be running at v1.1 features.

The SVM card only works from version 2 and you will need a V2 card. This SD card had encryption keys that open up the version 2 features - thus enabling the SVM to operate correctly.

I've had this problem myself. It can be resolved by going to option2. System / Option6. Numbering plan and selecting the feature tab. Scroll right to the bottom and add * 38 in the dial column next to Simplified Voice Message Access. The problem was caused by this feature not being available in version 1 software and subsequently the feature code was not ported when you upgraded the database. This can be done from a version 1 that was upgraded and you will not need to purchase a new SD card.

Dear,
Badger,
I know that The SVM card only works from version 2. What is V2 card?? I have to by a new SD CARD?? so for what reason is the upgrade??

NT Lee,
Simplified Voice Message Access is * 38 and this was made automatically after upgrading. I try to give other number but the result is the same, cut off. Anyway the SVM card is working properly in TDA 30 V3 system.
Any other idea, have you did it before???

I'm certain that that is all I did. *38 was definately missing from number plan / feature after the upgrade as Simplified Voice Message Access is not present when using version 1 software. Are you certain that you are fitting an SVM card and not an OGM card (MSG2). I only ask this as you do not need to set a phone to manager (as you mentioned earlier) with an SVM card, as it is used to record personal voice mails. The code to record to an OGM is *36. EG *361501. Apologies if this is not the case, but I thought it might be worth checking.

I have also a MSG2 card on the system and works properly.
Anyway the SVM card is working properly in other TDA 30 Version 3 system.
Anyway if i used an SD card FROM A NEW SYSTEM V3 would fix the problem?????
