Panasonic KX-TDA30 greeting message problem

Hello guys i'm really in trouble with this problem because my boss is breathing in my neck about it and he wants to me set a greeting message for anybody who calls to have a greeting message. So i read the manuals and did everything right. I've set the Floating Extension Number from the PBX console and even from the phone. But when i try recording message to that number from the phone it says Not Valid? Please help!

he he.

1)SET 2.7.1COS settings programming and manager
2)cos no=1 for manager enable
3)set ext 101 to have COS no=1 at extension settings
and do recording from that extension

Mmmmm nope. It was like that as you said but nothing new. You sai giving it ext101 and the strangest thing is it is not giving me to enter a number more than 2 digits so i'm using 11 for floating ext point and the COS was manager enable and nothing again

use T7633 phone to record the message and check the manager settings again, there is your mistake because manager is disable by default. are you sure that therecording extension is COS 1 and manager enable???

check also you feature buttons to find the correct code-number for recording.
thanks
