Location: Penrith Cumbria UK Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with a problem on my new KX-tea308? The switch is connected to two external lines which are provided by BT (British Telecom) and are called Featureline Compact Lines. They are in essence another PABX located at the telephone exchange. In order to get an outside line you have to dial 9. So if you are trying to get an external line on the Panasonic switch, you have to dial 9 twice. If possible , I would like to change this to having to dial only one 9. I have tried inserting a Host PABX Access Code (programming code 403) for each CO line but it has made no difference. Can anyone help me please?

Therefore if you dialled 01234 123456, the system would actually pick the line up, then insert 9 followed by the number. This would in effect send the 9 you want over the featurenet lines

Location: Penrith Cumbria UK Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi Badger, Please can I add my support to Phull Iqubal's request for more detail?. I have waded through the ARS section and I find it very complicated. A 'try it see' approach would obviously be one way but I cannot be on site for a while and doing this remotely would obviously be very time consuming. I am also mystified why inserting 9 at 403 (Host PABX Access Code) did not solved the problem. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
