trying to read a dsys file

I have downloaded a dsys file from another post in this forum. it is called DSYS. I have all three version of tda30 maint console. I cannot read the file I get "this file is not a system data file for a supported model" and "2x file type error"
If someone could upload a DSYS file that would be great.
I have a customer who has forgotten the password

any ideas thanks in advance.

Wrong model

I get that message if I try to open a KXTD30 or 15 in the KXTDA100/200 programming tool, thats why it says not a supported version. Check the model of PBX against the DSYS fiel.

as above
DSYS is the name Given to the configration file. if you have all versions of the software loaded and the file doesnot open then . then the DSYS is not for that system
if its a case you just need a dsys file to have a look at then you can make one
1.open the TDA programe
2. Do NOT connect to The system.
3. Go to File
4. go to new
5. this will open a brand new DSYS file for you
6. go to file
7. click save as
8.choose location

thanks for this. I do not have the system on site so have been doing the file open etc. I don't know why I though that it was going to be a tda30. I will try the tda100 software and see what happens.

A DSYS File is the database for either a KXTDA 100 or 200

A KXTDA 30 or TDA 15 will have a DSSYS file.

The KXTDA600 will have a DLSYS file

Hope this makes sense
