this can happen for 2 reasons

1. your telephone line provider doesnt have your calls hunting to the next free line

2. all calls are pointed as ddi to the reception and the reception doesnt have call waiting switched on ( lift handset type *7311 (you hear tone) hangup

Hi plz explain your problem in detail.
what i undrstand from your post according tothat solutoion is
1. Active the call waiting for both internal and external.
2. if you are using SLt phone on other side. just check outside line access code under the TABnumbering plan and feature.May be u r using 9 for the operator.and 0 for outside line.
ther eare so many other reason also just send me more detail about this things.whetger it is for incoming call or outgoing call also.

Dear mates


as i have told before my console getting busy i will try to explain more to make u help me :

when my oparator on phone the console getting busy for internal calls
wich mean i can get outside CO calls but not able to get inside calls coz its getting busy tone,

please need help urgently

if the issue is internal calls then the opperator has to switch on call waiting ............. when a caller from the inside wants to get her (or him)..must say that )) they ring ie 201 they then gey the bust tone
they then press 1 on there handset (this then sends the call waiting tone)
to switch on call waiting at a phone

off hook

*7311 beep in ear
*7312 voice through speaker phone
*7313 voice through Handset

i have done *73111 and i hear tone as well and console show me call waiting anable
but inside call still gets busy tone that is the problem now

do you have access to the programing software ??

did you try dialing 1 when getting the busy tone from the reception??
