I am looking for a KX-T1232 cheat sheet for the codes.
Also, i am having problems getting the phone on jack #1 to ring when receiving calls from an outside line. The light blinks saying the call is coming, but no ringtone

First check may the user disable the ringer volume.
otherwise check the Jack number and go to the program no407 and make it enable. It will solve your problem.

pgm 407 ? This is an kx-t 123211d not a kx-td 1232 2 digit program fields

Go to system prg. 47 for day and enable it there. Also check prg 49 and make sure it is set to immediate.

Now my line in jack 7 is not getting a tone. It used to before, i wonder.

what do you mean by not getting a tone? If the phone is not working check your pairs or punch down the phone as close to the unit as possible. that way you eliminate the wiring.

ok will do that shortly, going to drive to the building in one hour. Also i wonder if there is any kind of function that would block a phone from working. That way i can check both things before posting again. Anyways, i will check the computer again when i get to the site.

got it, so it most be the plug or wiring. Will check, the guy that installed it before me about 10 years ago made it functional, but wiring arrangement very sloopy, some connections are not even covered and the PBX doesnt even have a cover

Yeah i got to the site and tested the clable that goes from the jack to the phone, along with the phone in another jack and it works. Must be some wiring that got lose, probably in the wiring cabinet.

Now some people are staying in room , so i guess i will wait until they check out to them trace the faulty wiring.
