There are two ways to interpret this question. If I have a PC with a USB port and I want SMDR data from a TDA system, I would get a USB to serial adaptor, plug it into the USB port on my PC and plug the serial port into the PBX. If the PBX was a distance from my PC, I'd either use a Moxie serial to ethernet adaptor, or a set of short-haul modems to a serial port/USB-serial adapter. If I had the luxury of a local PC to the PBX, I'd capture the data from the serial port using phone logger and access it via the web. If I was trying to print to a USB printer from the SMDR port in real time, I'd have to do some heavy research to see if there was a driver for Serial to USB that would make the printer behave.
