Location: Scotland Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Following the flow chart of DISA operation from the manual. After point (c) there is a decision based on the presence of the BV card. If no card then the intercept sends the call to 'another extension'. On testing this appears to be jack1, the operator. However if an incoming call hasn't been answered which is usually already shown on the operator position this results in a disconnect and can only trap a call based on the permanent presence of an operator. I would like to redirect this final transfer to another extension which will have an answering machine. Using AA I can get a dialled call to the TAM extension but it is necessary to dial an additional number. I don't really want to go down the road of having a menu presented to any caller as they wouldn't know a call couldn't be answered until it had already failed. There doesn't appear to be a route for an unanswered call to be presented back to AA for further action.

Location: Scotland Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Apparently there is an undocumented feature code. The problem with fwd/busy is that the external line programmable button lights on the proprietary phones flash intermittently. I can put an answering machine on its own extension and have a delayed ring so it picks up the unanswered calls as normal so this works fine. But if I wish to use automated attendant I cannot at present have anything other than jack 1 be the end stop of a call. Which is pointless as it will already not have answered. I wasn't aware of this forum until recently unfortunately. And the issue wasn't apparent in advance of experimenting with the settings.

Location: Scotland Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Basic problem is availability of systems that are compliant with our regulations. I have the pbx and was looking for a way of using it effectively. It would appear that there isn't a way round this issue then. Thanks for your help.
