Flapping flag

Four monks were meditating in a monastery. All of a sudden the prayer flag on the roof started flapping.
The younger monk came out of his meditation and said: "Flag is flapping"

A more experienced monk said: "Wind is flapping"

A third monk who had been there for more than 20 years said: "Mind is flapping."

The fourth monk who was the eldest said, visibly annoyed: "Mouths are flapping!"

Silly Canuck!!! When I'm in charge of things I'm going to revoke all of your U privileges... try spelling stuff then. :P I'm also going to teach y'all the proper way to pronounce words like about and processor.

Ahhh, but thankfully I am the demi-god here so sensible spelling will rule! The only place that those original British grammaticians screwed up is in words like "tyre" and "aluminium".

Where I am from "about" and "processor" are pronounced ab-out and pr-ah-cess-or. Unless we want to sound snooty then they sound like a-boat and pro-cess-or.

A bit of HUMOUR to add some COLOUR to the subject:

I take issue with the afore mentioned proper pronunciation of about and processor, as well as the spellings (and ultimate pronuncation) of tyre and aluminium, (and cheque for that matter).
SO....the US/Canuk/UK guide of pronuciation/spelling:
I-S-S-U-E is pronuced "iss-you"
T-I-S-S-U-E henceforth becomes "tiss-you"
Tyre for a wheel is spelt T-Y-R-E, T-I-R-E is what you get when your done with a subject. or at the end of a long day.
A-B-O-U-T is pronounced "Ah-boot" not "ah-bout" or "a-boat"
and P-R-O-C-E-S-S-O-R is pronounced "pro-cess-or" not "prah-sess-ar"
B-E-I-R is the lovely libation we love, not B-E-E-R which is a watery yellowish liquid sold in Aluminium (prononced "Al-you-min-e-um") cans in the US.
And the proper amount of Beir/Lauger/Pilsner/Ale/Stout/Bitter is a PINT not a "40 ouncer"
Oh..and the Korean car manufacturer is Hyundi (procnounced "Hi-yun-dye" not "hon-dye")
For those who feel this was a waste of their reading time...the cheque is in the mail.
:P

Q: How many Zen buddhists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: None, they are the light bulb.
