Forever! ** Police Arrest Boyfriend Of Girl's Mother LOS ANGELES -- Authorities said a 6-year-old girl had handcuffed to a steel table for 18 hours before she was found Thursday in a Fontana home. The mother's boyfriend was arrested. Sisters Linda Sanchez and Karen Rivas were asked to baby-sit at the residence. That's when they said they found the girl. "When we saw it, we were shocked," Sanchez said. "When it's in your neighborhood and you get a visual, it blows your mind." Paul Kosaka, 33, was booked for investigation of false imprisonment, corporal punishment and endangering a child. The child, along with her unharmed 3-year-old brother, were taken by San Bernardino County Child Protective Services. Kosaka told officers he handcuffed the child to the table as a form of discipline. Sanchez said she asked the girl why she was handcuffed to the table. "She said, 'Because I threw up,'" Sanchez said. "She said she was hungry and thirsty, so my sister gave her a soda and a banana. She said, 'Please, give me some cereal. I'll hurry and eat it fast.'" The children's mother also was arrested. Police said she left the girl in care of the boyfriend. "She's got bruise marks all over her body. She was laying in her own feces and urine. That's no way to treat a child," police Sgt. William Megenney said. An anonymous caller notified police about 10:51 a.m. Wednesday that children may be in danger at the Paine Street home. Officers found the girl handcuffed to the table and determined she had been there about 18 hours, Megenney said. She had been handcuffed at various times for several months, the sergeant said. "She's a 6-year-old girl. What could she possibly do to merit being handcuffed for hours and hours at a time to a steel table?" Megenney asked. The boyfriend's mother, Ila Jane Kosaka, 60, also was arrested and booked for investigation of child neglect. | ||||||||

Location: Maine Rep Power: 5 | If I am the arresting officer, I take them (the mother andf the boyfriend) to an isolated loaction handcuff them to a stationary object, beat the sh*%out of them, and leave them there for a day or two. Let them sit there bruised and bloody in puddles of their own urine and feces. | ||||||||
