An Indiana boy was killed this past Saturday during a backyard wrestling competition at his parent's home.

Mark Carlson, age 14, broke his neck as he landed incorrectly on his head after jumping off of the second story of his house. "He was attempting to jump on me from the second story, a stunt that we haven't done yet, but something that Mark wanted to do for some time now," stated Richard Kransonely, "I was laying on the ground and saw him jump, then the next thing I hear is his neck breaking. It was the most horrible sound that I ever heard. I feel bad because I thought he was only acting as we always did so I picked up a steel chair and smacked it down on his back. When he didn't react to the chair crashing into his torso I knew that this dude was messed up. I was right, he was dead."

The parent's of Mark Carlson were arrested for child endangerment, but were able to give out the following statement:

"Mark was a very gifted young man who wouldn't blame us for his death as the state of Indiana is. He knew the risks, and we truly believe that he wouldn't want have died any other way. He loved, ate, and slept wrestling. The only time he wasn't practicing his wrestling moves he was either washing cars or locked in his room with his girlfriend. Yes, he made one bad jump, what about the good jumps he made? Why don't we get medals around our necks for all of his good jumps if we get arrested for one bad jump?"

Clearly there are great risks when it comes to wrestling. And even greater risks when you wrestle in your backyard with idiotic parents supervising you.

Nearly all 50 US states are passing bills to make back yard wrestling illegal.
