Rep Power: 11  | look out for those $100 and $20 Five arrested in SoCal counterfeit ring Tuesday, May 13, 2008 05-13) 12:53 PDT Los Angeles, CA (AP) -- Federal authorities say they have broken up one of the largest counterfeit currency rings ever uncovered in Southern California. Federal prosecutors said Tuesday they arrested five people, including a printer who claims he made between $5 million and $6 million in counterfeit bills over the past two years. Investigators say they found a manufacturing plant last week where bogus $100 bills and $20 bills were made using inkjet technology and computers.
