Looks similar to the old Daewoo Matiz (seems to have a similar specification too)... and I bet they don't get to sell it that cheaply should they ever get around to exporting it.

This is the one I want. The regular fortwo can either have a hard or convertible top, but this one lookslike the most fun. Got to see it in person in Munich. I got the 6'3" Grobian to sit in one and even he was not cramped.

Neither of them looks very partical. If they don't put a radio in it for the exports, there will be more brainless users with ear buds in listening to their i-pods, etc... and not able to hear what is around them.

I am starting to look for a second car (yes all you 'green' folks out there can whine at me now) for commuting but I'll sacrifice a few L/100KM (MPG for the rest of you) to have some comforts.

It should be interesting when they try to export it and discover things like our cash safety regulations... that thing looks like something the Japanese would've sold over here in the 80s.

It means that the safe in your car has to stay in your car during a crash.

BTW - My explorer is still for sale if you want to come get it or trade for that 4x4 thing you have.

I may be a 'greenie' but, I am very much in to my luxury items. I want everything, typical. I want fuel economy, low maint. costs, high safety rating, smooth as silk ride, silent interior, comfort features, and style. Anyone know what they might be for less than 35K????

Currently, I alternate between my motorbike and a 2001 Toyota Highlander. I love both but, for very different reasons.

This year they are going to start selling a car here that looks like the car in this thread. The first shipment is already sold out. One of the TV ads shows parallel parking the car, you don't. Just drive it straight in to the curb, it does not stick out any farther than parallel parked cars and you can get two cars in one space. Meter maids will love that.
