Cannot login to Option 11C

Just a couple of points.

1. The China thing about the reproduction. I've never tried it, but how can you reproduce while walking in a line?

2. The Bible doesn't even say they were wise men. Either Magi or Kings. You might also, note that it says " The young boy" Christ, not the infant or baby. It was some 8 yrs after the birth that they arrived at the "House of Joesph and Mary not the " Manger."
Also, Mary did not become a virgin until proclaimed so by the
Catholic Bishops circa 1300's. No where in the Bible does it say she was.

and 3. a jiffy

1. The duration of one tick of the computer's system
clock. Often one AC cycle time (1/60 second in the US and
Canada, 1/50 most other places), but more recently 1/100 sec
has become common.

2. Confusingly, the term is sometimes also used for a
1-millisecond wall time interval. Even more confusingly,
physicists semi-jokingly use "jiffy" to mean the time required
for light to travel one foot in a vacuum, which turns out to
be close to one *nanosecond

Interresting tid-bits.

You got two outa three. Hate to quibble but the Devil is in the details. The Bible quite clearly indicates that Mary was a virgin, hence why Joseph was going to quietly 'divorce' her (bethrothals required divorce in those times) and why he 'knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son' ('knew' of course meaning to have sexual relations). The Catholic Bishop's declared that Mary's conception was immaculate - that is that she was without original sin.

FROM WEBSTERS
Immaculate Conception:
1 : the conception of the Virgin Mary in which as decreed in Roman Catholic dogma her soul was preserved free from original sin by divine grace
2 : December 8 observed as a Roman Catholic feast in commemoration of the Immaculate Conception

The Devil is in the details.

We now know only, who Joesph knew, and why he would divorce her , not so of Mary.

Console question

Good afternoon,
I am the Devils advocate. He has instructed me to inform you that while he is in the Bible he is NOT in the details. He has not, nor will he ever be, in the details. He states for the record that while he may be written about in the bible he was never actually IN the Bible. He would like to say further that he completly distances himself from the Bible and everything good, pure , and decent in general.

As far as he's concerned you can all go to Hell.

Thank you.

We do know what the Bible says about who Mary knew. We have Mary's response to the angel when drops the bomb on Mary regarding pregnancy: Luke 1:34 "Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?"

I don't know about you but 'know not a man' means a virgin in my books!

Ok...back on to the subject as a whole...SOME of these I HAVE heard (aka researched) to be true:
YES...the Microwave was invented because of a melted chocolate bar
YES...SOME Dragonflies have 24hrs to be born, find food, mate and die (while other species DO live longer)
YES...for the most part our eyes are the same size at birth as they will ever be, and our ears and noses (and anyother cartilge in our body's ) continuly grows. (Our eyes GROW, but not bigger, just stronger.)
YES...there is not, nor has there ever been a Betty Rubble in Flinstone's Vitamins, reason: she was to hard to distinguish from Wilma at the time
Then there are the wrong:
There ARE some words (recently invented I'm sure) that will rhyme with orange, purple and silver
And I have yet to find ANYTHING supporting that in 1932 Nigara falls froze over completly....YES there have been MANY years where it's been cold enough to freeze up the river that feeds it, thus causing ice jams at the top of the falls, and YES, they HAVE had to stop the falls for repairs to various parts...but that's all I can find on it..
Lastly...The Devil's not in the details OR the Bible...he's in the PUDDING, and that's why mine tates so awful...got nothing to do with the experation date being from six months back :P

I only counted 26 states on the back of my series 1999 $5 bill. I think they are the first 26 states because two of the states listed are Carolina (no north or south) and Hampshire (without the New).

Hey PG!

As to Niagara drying up... yes, it is a verifyable event from about 30th 1848 and lasted 30-40 hours. Try:

http://www.iaw.com/~falls/faq.html#where

He even lists verifiable sources.

And as to the Devil... he is actually in Georgia looking for a soul to steal. And he is in a bind 'cause he is way behind and he's willin' to make a deal.
