No, they never call... we're a telephone services organization and the last thing we do is pick up the phone.

I researched the issue further and it turns out that our office has been stricken with a cases of "I never got your email" and "You didn't get the email I sent?" Only seems to happen to certain select people who have a poor work ethic to start with.

Why would they use a tool that would make them do more work? Besides, the read receipt can be cancelled at the receivers end (at least in outlook). I get a note telling me the user has requested a read recipt and do I want to send it or not.
