At home I have no problem everything comes up instantly, but at work I share my Internet access with 700+ other people. While the new pages are pretty each one takes about 30 seconds to load and about 1/3 the time they timeout. I noticed the time out issues as well, we have been trying to get this server to work right for the past year and have always had issues with time outs . Location: Dallas, Texas Rep Power: 5 Gender: Country: | We are planning to migrate to the new server this weekend, starting sometime Friday. There is a couple of issues with out current set up, we have about 40 websites running off this server. The new server will be running a fraction of those, so much less resources being used... Our Current Server is: Single Processor 2.4 Ghz w/ cache of 512Kb and 1 Gig of Ram Also the new server specs are: Server: Dual Processor, Quad Core, Xeon 5310 with 2 Gigs of Ram and 4096 KB of Cache. So that should double the performance but I don't want to get anyones hopes up if the site is slow because of bandwidth issues on there end. But, the other problem I have is that I share Internet access with 700+ people who are online all the time as part of their job so access is very slow at times. My bookmark for this site is the Avaya forum. At work I cannot click the forums button at the top to select another forum, Internet Explorer responds that there is no such page. The only way I can go to another forum is to step one page at a time to the top menu where I can select the forum button. I timed how long it took me to get to the quick reply window to type this. My trip involved one timeout, two reloads because the screen did not load completely and three times using the back button because nothing at all happened. It took me 16 minutes and 7 seconds to get to where I can type this. At work I need a non graphical option because it is too slow otherwise.
