After seeing a story on newsnet5.com about a punching bag that was filled with dirty underwear, a local family checked their punching bag.
And they also discovered dirty underwear.
"I was pretty mortified with what I found," said Robert Haslage.
Haslage opened up his son's TKO brand punching bag because his wife, Tammy, called him from work after reading the story.
"She goes it's on newsnet5, so I went on your Web site and read the story myself, come down here and looked in the bag and the first thing I saw were some ladies undergarments in there."
"I expected probably sand, but dirty clothes in there," said Asa Haslage.
Haslage said this makes you wonder what other items could have in them.
"Is my mattress filled with ladies garments? You know what else is people trying to save $1 for?" Haslage said.
He said he bought the punching bag a year ago for $100.
The same thing happened to a Cincinnati-area family.
They said it took them a few tries to get a hold of the maker who said a new, non-underwear filled bag is on the way.
The Haslages haven't heard back from the company.
"To know this has been in my house and my 7-year-old has been playing with it's appalling," Haslage said.
