I spend 0% of my time off hours with anyone I work with. (OK, .02%, as I DO occcasionally catch up with my boss over a pint, or with his boss (my former) over dinner with the wives, but other than that...)
I spend 90% of the time with my family, and the rest with some mates from my long commute home.
That's how it should be....Yeah, we spend more time at work than at home, but doesn't mean you nessisarily have to be FRIENDS with your Coworkers...if it were you'd call them friends, not coworkers.

Actually, Slag, everytime I saw the your reference to the bad apple, it reminded me of that Dr Seuss song about the Grinch. And I kept thinking that no, you were not a bad apple, you were merely a bad banana with a greasy black peel.

I dont believe for a minute that you are a really bad person - a little unusual, perhaps, but not bad. And I didnt think you were unreasonable to have asked the question in he first place. Your bar-b-que was being invaded by leeches; no doubt about it.
