Hey Arch,
I remember walking around the trade center the december after and seeing the walls lined with shrines like that. It was eye opening and when you saw people's faces on a "missing" poster it really brought it home for me...actually seeing unique individuals that were missing or being looked for.

I was there the March after it happened and saw similar posters. What was interesting was that some were obviously older than others. Some looked just plain new. Guess those new ones were put up by people that refused to give up hope or would not accept the loss. That, in itself, said volumes.

Well I did snap a few pictures of a snake while I was in Texas. I was out fishing and came up on this guy, he was really cold and lethargic, so I got some really great upcloses, but then he surprised me with the last picture:

I was actually right up on him, had to move him around a little to get those good shots, my hand was inches when he struck, I thought he was too cold to move that fast but man, if you thought he moved fast, should saw how fast I moved out of the way.

The snake was warming itself in the morning sun and hadn't gotten to full body temp so it was really slow, so I got really close up and he surprised me.
