Aside from dinners and few favors here and there I pretty much don't get birthday presents, what do you buy a guy who doesn't like widgets, gidgets, fidgets and only likes quality gadgets and tools. (Quality = $)

How about 16inches of carbide destruction turning at 3600 rpm? Not exactly the most presise or efficient method of metal cutting but I can't argue with the noise or sight of it.

My roommate, BUT although it was new in the box it's actually a couple of years old based on the model which tells me he probably got it off of one of his buddies for free or ultra cheap.

Unless I happen to score some absolutely mind blowing sex the first best bday gift will be whatever I get myself... last year it was a car and I'm thinking from gandering at the bank that it's going to be something a lot smaller (cheaper) than that this year.
