Ah I remember that one.

I guess I need to get around more, I was amazed when I went to Seattle and it was still nice and bright at 9:30 or so.

Really? I am used to sun till about 10:00PM in the summer. How early does it set in California?

Depends on how far south you are.....
In the "uper midwest" the sun sets around 8:30 these days....LA, I'd say about 9-9:30ish for the sun to start dipping below the sea?

Now...Nova Scotia, your talking DARK DARK DARK in the winter by 5pm!

Usually 8:30 - 9 if not earlier if memory serves be right from being at the beach during sunset.
