Just out of curiosity -- how tall is the average doorway? Does she have to duck every time she enters a room?

Over here I think the average doorway is about 6'4".

Not too brilliant when you're 6'2" and you presume that all doorways are 6'4", you end up with some very close ones!

But your all short on that side of the pond Besides, you head out to the country, and you've got all those old manors with the 5'6" doorways

Standard in the use is 7 foot, but can be slightly higher or shorter depening on the ceiling height and preference.

My brother is 6ft 9 in and he has always ducked when he goes thru doors.

And no he didnt play basketball. He was in the school band.

All the more reason to have a mobile mic stand
We had an electic bass in our marching band (don't ask) and they always had some freshman geek pusing the rolling amplifier and battery pack (about 3 car batteries) round on this cart thing....Looked pretty dumb

He was the drummer. But it was really funny cause he had to unbolt the seat from the fram of his Mustand and move it back about 4 inches to get into the thing. He has gotten so tired of poeple asking him how tall he is, that he now tells people that he is 5ft 21in, or 81in tall. He also can only sit in the bulk head seats in plane and he never fit in an airplane bathroom.

I can't say that charter flights are comfortable at 6'2".

Thinking about it scheduled flights aren't much better either.

That and over here if you want a bulk head seat you have to pay more, much more, surely this is discrimination
