It gets interesting around 1:55... I dunno if its work safe and I don't care since your paychecks don't pay my bills.

Interesting to see the video behind that story. I kinda feel sorry for the guy because you can hear him on the video asking his assistant to verify that the gun is empty. In the nuke business we call that independant verification and we rely on it when performing critical functions in the field. This poor sucker obviously was not working with careful colleagues.

You have to credit the guy with some major moxy for continuing his lecture practically without skipping a beat despite a nasty shot in the leg with a Glok. Depite his calm demeanor it was obvious by the end of that video that folks in the room were getting mighty nervous about the weapons that he was showing.

Ya... they've probably looked in the chamber of a 'cleared' glock a thousand times and never seen a round in it... after a while you just get used to it always being the same.

Back when I was in the service when we came off a range with a weapon we were required to do a visual check of the chamber and then a range officer would clear the weapon by shoving a rod all the way down the barrel to the chamber to ensure that there were no rounds in the weapon.

I equate this stuff to doing power in our industry, the second you don't take it seriously or repect it is when it will screw you up big time.

I LOVE how he holds his hand up like to say "I'm ok, I'm ok, I can take it".....

Something tells me this guy will be looking for other work. I'm sure there is some sort of "cop code" about showing off your piece or taking your piece out in front of kids. Sounds to me this guy was showing off. What if he pointed the gun at someone and it went off? Don’t get me wrong I love cops; there is not one looking over my shoulder as I type.

Is there a rent-a-cop looking over your shoulder?
