Meridian PBX advice please

I am looking into a meridian PBX for my small business. As of now I have 2 lines and needing 8-10 ext. future expansion to 3 or 4 lines and 20ext. Also, needing voice mail on both lines with 1-3 mailboxs on line one and 1 mailbox on line two. What parts do I need to get? I have looked at a 8x24 MICS DR5 w/trunk card but I do not know what is what as for part#'s. Would you please assist in a parts list to get the system up. I will maintain system myself due to cost. Do I need a batt backup to save setting during power outage and can I link my pc to it to load settings and change priviliges on the PBX?

Thank you so much in advance,

Mike

you could try here:

PBX-Guide: Find the IP-PBX appliance that's right for you

I would get a UPS that would keep the system running for at least 4 hours, the vendor you choose should be able to help size it for you. They can also help you with the type of application and conections required to manage it. Some of the newer systems use web interfaces.
