Rep Power: 0 ![]() | We are going to pilot a Cisco IP switch and want to network it with a Succession 3.0 11C with Meridian Mail rls 12. We want to be able to light the message waiting light on the Cisco phones from Meridian Mail OR will we have to go to CallPilot? Can someone help me with this question? | ||||||||

Location: NORTEL - NJ Rep Power: 7 ![]() | First of all you will need a PRI Q.Sig link between the Cisco and your Nortel. Once that is done, you will create CDP entries in the Nortel to steer calls towards the the Q.Sig route. On the D Channel you will have to enable QMWI (Message Waiting Over Q.Sig) in the RCAP settings. Once this is done, you should be well on your way.
