Red face Noob Question - Hunt Group Working Incorectly.

Hi all,

Just registered after viewing this forum and iot's gonna help me out big time should I need it.

And it's one of those times now :-/

Here's my problem.

On a BCM50 unit.

I have 3 users in an office building. 2 of which are associated with company A and only one with company B. Both companies have a DDI main line and a hunt group assigned to it even though company B has currently only one member.

Each company has 10 DDIs assigned ending 920 - 939. 920 is company B's main DDI and 930 is company A's main DDI.
Company A member 1 DDI = 931 (DN=221)
Company A member 2 DDI = 932 (DN=222)

Company B member 1 DDI = 921 (DN=227)

There is also a main number when rang rings a hunt group with all 3 members. This works perfectly.

Apologies for my detailed explanation but need for you guys to know what I've done already.

I've added the 2 members from company A to a hunt group. It has been tested and works perfectly. I've also tested their DDIs and they work perfectly.

However, when I ring either the hunt group for company B with the one member in or the DDI for this member, the DN 221 rings only??

If someone could possibly help me I would really appreciate it. If you need more information please ask and I will respond ASAP.

Many thans guys.

Paul. (dignetsol)

Have you figured it out yet?

Do you have a service on? 221 is default in all ring groups. If that's it remove 221 from ring group 1 and test.

Do you want the DID for 227 to be answered by HG B? If so, make sure the target line is assigned to the HG. Also, check the prime set for the target line. It is probablly defaulted to 221 as well.
