Sorry and thanks for your replies.
I mean a situation where you are away from work, you call your PBX and hang up, and REPLACE the hanset on the cradle. After a short while the Phone rings and you pick it, and you get a dial tone whereby you can make a call.

Different from RGA and or Ringback circuit(where you get a ring sinal), am also yet to try this on Option11 Rls 23 (you dial a code, hang up and that particular set ring- for testing ringing on the sets.

Basically (incase somebody may wonder) may be used by personnel to make calls from their residence/houses when required, may be even int'l calls of course you know that sorts out billing since the Telecom company will now bill the PBX line.

I think your meaning DISA in the Nortel world, I know small key systems have that feature your talking about but DISA allows you to call in and use the PBX to make outgoing calls. A big security risk as you are probably aware. You need to have the DISA package installed.

DISA is for dialling into the Meridian 1 / CS 1000, getting dialtone, and making a call.

Believe (but you need to check the documentation) that the Meridian Personal Call Director has the requested callback capability - i.e. you call it, hang up, it will call you back and allow you to make a call after you authenticate with it.
