Rep Power: 3  Country:   |  Ring more than 1 on ACD phone I want to ask you quite a stupid question but is there a way to make the phone rang more than 1 times. The situation is I have 1 ACD group and consists of 6 agents when there is call come in to ACD , ACD will distribute call to 1 of 6 agents and ring only 1 times ( Maybe 1 beep in my feeling ) after that there is only flashing icon on the ACD key instead of continuous ringing. Have anyone used to try configure something like my issue ? | ||||||||

Location: @home Rep Power: 8 Gender:  Country:  | sounds like they have headsets on and the hand set is off hook. Try placing a handset in the cradle and see if that fixes their problem. If you have the 3xxx series sets there is a headset button to push to pick up the line. | ||||||||

For PAPA Bear , the telephone I used is M3905 and it has no hook switch. For Ariesmarasigan , which LD used for adjust the ringing cycle ? | ||||||||

Location: @home Rep Power: 8 Gender: Country: | My thoughts are that the ring cycle is more than 1, just that you are only hearing one ring tone and the flashing lamp is showing you that the line is still ringing for the rest of the cycle. Try it on your own phone if you have a digital set. Pick the handset up and press the rls button to free up the line (leave the handset off hook). Have someone call you, you will hear a tone (once) then the indicator will flash until the caller hangs up or is transfered off to your voicemail (or where ever your phone FDNs to) When the line is picked up (if a multiple appearance) it will go solid. I the case of and ACD it should clear for the next call. | ||||||||
