Taking a nap

I have a Northern : CALL SERVER/MAIN CAB
VERSION 2121

RELEASE 3
ISSUE 00 +
IDLE_SET_DISPLAY NORTEL
This PBX is taking a nap every once in a wile. The PBX is locking up and they are doing a power recycle to be able to make calls.
Any thing I should be looking at?
Is there any way I can look at history and get some help?

Thanks in advance for your help.

"Locking up" is not a good thing. Call your maintenance provider and have them troubleshoot it and resolve.

I agree. Call your vendor. It could be many things. Is your Deplist current?

Alarms

I am the provider and it did not answerer my second question. Is there a way to look at history for recurring alarms?

Thanks

As you know, Once you reboot the Call Server you loose anyhing in history you could look at. Have you looked in PDT? Are all the current and correct patches installed? Is the terminal locked up too? As far as I know there is not a way to look in history for recurring alarms.

If printer is attached, why not get it to print as it goes to get a hard copy for a couple of days. Just means watching for paper jams.
