Well, guess HE won't be asked back for an interview

Hi

I am interested in learning how to program and install 3x8 KSU, compact ICS & modular systems. I ordered a few courses from global knowledge:

0100T Norstar Familiarization 6.1
0137T Norstar MICS 6.1 Hardware Overview, Installation and Programming
0104T Norstar CallPilot 2.0 Messaging

but these courses were very limited, they did not even talk about the bix blocks and how to wire them appropriately for the system. I mean i picked up a programming manual and i found that area of the system setup fairly simple to follow, although they just mostly list the commands and dont describe the functions thoroughly.

I am located in the Caribbean and therefore do not have access to take class courses in the USA or Canada. Are there any books, manuals or other course cds i can purchase to help me achieve my objective.

Any information would be appreciated,
Thank You

hey BobF, don't mean to be a nuisance but i read the article and it did not point me anywhere for more indepth information.

I would like a guide or manual that will teach me how to wire up the bix block (the external land lines to the bix, the intercoms and then the amphenol cables from the bix to the norstar system).

Is this type of education even available online ?
or would I have to attend a class.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
