Hello,
Not sure where to post this. I'm a Cisco guy by trade.

We are integrating with a Nortel Matra (?) in Europe and the Nortel tech has configured a 30ch PRI for us using DSS1.
The other side is our Cisco 2800 series using a VWIC2-1MFT-E1 card with matching ISDN Switch type, Fame and Code

The issue, which the local Nortel vendor can not stabalize, is that the 30 channels accept calls for 10-15 minutes on all channels but eventually 1-2 calls will take up all channels, either because they do not release or in some instances 1 call will lock up all channels at once. The only solution so far has been to reboot the Matra (it is quite old so maybe this is the issue)

We tried:
different switch-types, framing, coding,
New cable
New port on Cisco

We have not yet tried (but will try soon):
Different spot for the card inside the Nortel
Less Channels in PRI Group

Does anyone have any suggestions or insight? thanks
