Trunk SMDR info. question

Hi, we are looking to upgrade to IPTel and want to get name display CLI etc.. on the new PBX setup during the transition.
Does anyone know if the NEAX 7400 ICS 120 is QSIG compliant? I believe there are software revisions that are on the 120, but I'm not sure how to check what exact 120 I have.
Any suggestions?
Many Thanks,
Gareth

Is a 7400 ICS 120 QSIG compatible?

I have checked the Australian TIBs and TIB 0047 says you can implement this on software 3800 CH and above. You will have to check your SC01 card firmware as I believe there are bugs in V1.01. I believe V2.02 and above should be OK.

in order to check your software I have listed the commands (and some others) below.

Software series

Command F82 de 0 de

First byte (2 digits)

02 NC (3200
03 ND (3300)
05 NF (3400)
07 NJ (3500)
OA CD (3600)
14 CF (3700)
16 CH (3800)
19 CJ (3900)
IA CK(3900)
1B CL (4100)
1C CM (4100)

Last two bytes (4 digits give the version with a decimal point between bytes)

Frame Number

Command F80 de 0 de

Feature package

Command F F63 de 005fffa9

03 3400 NF
04 3500 NJ & ISDN Terminal
05 3600 CD ETSI
07 3700 CF
08 3800 CH & PHS & ISDN Terminal
09 3900 CJ
4000 CK
10 4100 CL,CM

Option Software

Command F63 de 005fff67

01 Basic
02 Basic & OAI
03 Basic & OAI & CCIS
04 Basic & CCIS
05 Basic & PHS
06 Basic & OAI & PHS

Thanks for the info. I seem to have a software and feature pack mismatch to get QSIG.
Software: 1C v3.10
Feature pack: 07 3700
Option s/w: 03
I have two SC01 cards (is that normal?) that are v1.10 (not 1.01) Does this have a bug too?
Is there an easy way to upgrade SC01 firmware and the feature pack? Should I contact NEC to supply?
Thanks again.
Gareth

Sorry don't know about that firmware level but as you need to do some upgrading you might want to consider the fact that the ICS 120 can be upgraded to an IPS (the most current system) which is fully Voip capable. Any upgrades would need to go through NEC as the software and what is unbundled is controlled by them, infact you only have a license to use the software, you don't actually own it.
