I need help please on setting up a fax machine on the IVS2 system.

The setup is as follows:
1 PN-24PRTA cards
1 PN-8COTS
3 8DLCP
CallCenterWorx ACD
CallCenterWorx MAT
Few 800 numbers that I use CM76 to assign it to a split on the ACD server.

I have a fax machine that is connected directly to a copper line.
I want to assign one of the 800 numbers to the fax machine.

I tried to hook the fax machine to one of the stations that is assigned by the CM10, then used CM12, CM1307, CM1329 to change the station from Dterm type to analog/fax type but it didn't work.

Could anybody please guide me to assign the fax machine with 800 number.
Is there a way that I can foreword the calls from the 800# to the copper line or vice versa, so i can receive faxes from both numbers local number and 800#?

Thanks.

RE: Does KX-TD 500 have SMDR EXT to EXT?

You can't just change the phone type in programming. The circuit type is Card dependant so you would have to buy an analogue card, add it to the system, program it accordingly and then connect the wiring on the frame. as for the copper line if you have a spare cot circuit you can terminate that line on the system and DIT it to the fax extension. That way the one machine could recieve calls from both numbers.
