Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out (and please bear with me because my terminology is not good at all). I have a NEAX2000 IVS2 that is admin'd via a MatworX v3.02 console right now (need the GUI because I'm not familiar with the console coding yet). We recently added an IPC Alliance MX system to accomodate our trading desk. I was able to get the trader's DID's and Hunt Group numbers over to IPC system pretty easily because each trader's LEN was just cross-connected to the IPC's block. However, I left the group number and it's hunt group numbers on the NEC PBX because I had a problem trying to deleting them. All the other number's were assigned as a station. The group number and it's hunts are however assigned as a virtual as shown when I do a LEN listup. They show up as V014, V015, V016. I want to delete these guys and assign them as a station so I can then cross-connect the physical LEN to the IPC block. When I try to reassign them as a station in MatworX, it says I can't because I have to delete them first. I can't delete them because they don't show up in any of the group items inside Matwork (chose "Station Management" and it said that the number is part of the "pickup" group, but when I look in there I don't see the 3 numbers at all). If anyone understood what I wrote, and has a clue as to help me, I would TRULY appreciate it. Thanks much and I love this site! It's very helpful! -- Adam

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Newbie requesting help with a NEAX2000 IVS2... Can you use MOC mode at all. If so CMD 163 will enable you to look up the call pickup group. See if you can find a physical number in that group and then look that up with matworX. Cmd 11 is where virtuals are programmed. start at len 000 ans step through until you find the one you want then enter CCC to delete it. but dont do that until you have removed them from the hunt group. Can't say much more as I am away from home and this is on pay by the minuit

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Natural MicroSystems Cards Not sure what you are asking the IPC is a VOIP switch in its own and it sounds like you ar e removing the NEC. Since this is a NEC support fourm you may need to contact IPC for help on the matter of moving calls form the NEC to the IPC. Mextera,

Basically, I'll try what you suggested in your previous posting. What I am essentially doing is moving all the phone numbers off of the dterms and setting them up as station (physical) lines. Then once they're all real, I can cross-connect them to an ALIC card inside the IPC Alliance MX system. The issue with one of the phone numbers (the group number) is that it is a virtual number assigned to a virtual LEN. I was unable to remove it using the MatworX app because I couldn't find the actual virtual number inside the "pickup group" inside that app. The way I knew that it was part of the "pickup group" was because I started the "station management" module, typed the phone number in, and saw it was listed as a member of that group. However, it never gets listed when I go to that group. I assume that MOC will be able to give me much more details but since I'm pretty "green" at this, it might take me some time to figure out the commands. None-the-less, I'll create a backup and go to town.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | To list the pickup group in MOC mode (I will assume you can find how to get into MOC mode) type.... / (this will give the command prompt) 163 space bar ( this will put you into the command for listing a call pickup group) extn number space bar ( this will then give the next extn number in the group. Keep pressing the space bar till you reach "END" and you will have listed them all. if any numbers are repeated the pickup group is corrupted and only the ones between the repeated numbers will probably work. A pickup group has to be a closed circle ( ie the last pionts to the first) so to take one out of the group type... / 160 space bar extn preceeding the one you want to remove space bar extn number following the one you want to remove . ( you type the full stop I just showed, it wasn't there for punctuation as with NEC systems the full stop means execute.) you may then have to type... / 160 extn number space bar CCC full stop to clear the setting from the one you want to remove.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | RE: Gottle of Geer Just wanted to give a head's up that it worked out GREAT and wanted to say thank you SO much for the how-to!!! I walked through it step by step and was able to get everything cross-connected. I'm sorry I didn't post earlier (as I did this last week) but wanted to just say thanks! As mentioned earlier, this site is AWESOME! Thanks, -- Adam
