RE: skype usb phone

I need some info from you NEC gurus out there. I am going to integrate a Dialogic D/240 JCT digital card with an NEC PBX. The catch is that I am needing to configure it as a D4/AMI Loop start digital station. I need to know what kind of card in the NEC world will provide this. For those ho may have their feet in both worlds, in the Nortel world it is a NT5D11 Line side station card. Thanks in advance.

Hi;

If i read this correct, you will need a 30 DTS with firmware SP3399.

This is a 30 channel digital tie line card, where the actual trunks are programmed as digital extensions, and a channel/trunk can be siezed via loop start.

Hope this help.

P.S. I am in AUS, so the names etc may be different.

siemens cards for sale slmo24 etc

Thanks, that is heading in the right direction I think. I should have specified that I need to prgoram the lines as single line, or analog stations. Does this card support this? Also, just for my knowledge, is the card you mentioned E-1? Most US T1 hardware is 24 stations.

Hi;

Yes the cct's on the card are programmed as stations, allowing you to ring individual ccts/trunks directly.

As far as E1/T1, as i am in AUS, we use E1 here, the full 30 channels. I would assume, as the card here is called a 30 DTS, you mave have a 24 DTS ??? over there which, with the same firmware revision SP3399, could essentially do the same thing.

Maybe a local NEC tech centre could answer the question with more local knowledge.

Happy programming...

It won't be me doing the programming, thank God. 'Sides, I'm a Nortel guy. Thanks.
