Newbie here.

Besides CallCenterWorx, what is a good proven ACD system compatable with an NEC 2000 phone switch?

Thanks for any information.

-Mike

Rolm 9200 Data Mode SMDR / Hotel Features

At this point it seems CallCenterWorx is junk. We just purchased a new CallCenterWorx ACD system and it crashes every other day.

Anyone have CallCenterWorx? If so, do you have problms with calls going to nowhere but the software indicates everything is normal and a system reboot fixes the problem?

Much to my PBX chagrin...

I have worked on call center worx on an older 2000
We had issues with memory once we added more we were fine.
We did finally get rid of the 2000 after call center grew and put them on a 2400 with ACD-I and GOLBAL Nav.

Have some one check the connection from the 2000 to the server and the server it self could be some run away process causing this thing to fail.

How to Setup Stratagy Mailboxes on CTX

Do you mean the computer locks up or does the acd stop working on the phones?

Here is the deal with ccwx. It will work just fine if you follow these rules. Make sure you have a static IP on the ccwx. Next get a small switch 4port and just have it and the ccwx pluged in and another cable to the rest of the network. If ccwx loses its connection with the pbx for a split second you have to reboot, or shut the MAT down and go into services and stop the ccwx service then reopen it to restart it. Post back and I will help you if you are still having trouble.

I have allmy ccwx boxes running just fine.

What version and build is your ccwx?

P.S.
I have heard Zeacom is awesome, but you have to pay to play!

The ACD stops working. It hasn't crashed for a while... been working with our phone vendoe UBC and they have been working with NEC to get the problem resolved.

A new problem is that sometimes it can not be taken out of night mode, have to rebot the computer for it to work.

We have had the processor firmware in the phone switch updated, the formware on the ACD card in the pBX updated, basically everything now meets what NEC recommends.

Static IP on the CCWX computer. We had it directly connected to the PBX temporarily to see if it affected what hapened. Only thing different is that now instead of the in comming calls going to no where, it ocassionaly does not want to come out of night mode.

It's back on the network now, the PBX and ACD are both plugged into the same Extreme Summint 48 switch. So far no problems but the problem(s) usually happens between 24-72 hours of the last reboot.

CCWX build 2.0-202.

How many ccwx boxes do you have?

Thanks for the info.

-Mike
