Hunt group question

Can you provide what you are try to accomplish?

It could determine what type of hunt group you require or if you just need to use call forwarding.

If that is the case since it sounds like voice mail is involved, you will want to use call forwarding.

The command is ACFS. Depending on your version of PBX and MAT software it may look different.

V or A = all calls
B= busy calls
D or N/A = no answer calls

I would have it CFB from the first to the last, then to voice mail. It should remember the station called first. Also remember there is an option for how many times a call can be forwarded. The most is five.

You can use no answer to help the calls go from station to station however that might not be the best case. If you were the caller would you want to hear ringing just because it was jumping from station to station.

You could use a pick up group (ACPG) for those five telephones. That way if the calls rings on another station they could just either dial the access code or depress a pick up button.

The issues is there are many ways to handle this issue it just depends on the best way for you business model.

now when i use the command acpg i say get on the 1st extension i want to use and everywhere else i type in the second extension it keeps telling me that needs 2 or more stn.. Do i need to create the group first?

If IMX or IPX do you see a "get" button in the ACPG command?
