Call Forward - number of rings

Where do I change the number of rings for call forward (E603)?

I have all extensions going after 3 rings but I need 2 extensions to go after 6 rings. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks,

JJGable

All what you need about call forwarding is shown in CM41... system timer, here it is set in seconds not in number of rings...

Earlier this week I gave the same answer to a customer as AbuSuhail only to be corrected by a very knowledgeable colleague. He pointed out that on the IPS you can set individual forwarding times. I have never done this and it may be software level dependant. So before I try to find out can you let us know if this is an IPS or not?

I am sorry to tell you that any change in CM41, system timer, will affect the whole system ,so you can NOT have 2 settings.

The one I wanted to change is a 2000 IVS but we do have new IPS in a differant building.

Quote from FP manual for call forward dont answer:

NOTE: When CME6 Y=07, 08 are set, the timing on a station basis (CME6 Y=07, 08 ) is effective.
When CME6 Y=07, 08 are not set, the timing on a system basis (CM41 Y=0>100, 101) is
effective.
[Series 3200 R6.2 software required]

so as you can see it is possible to do call forwarding with timers set per ext basis but you will require 3200 R6.2 or above

hope this helps.
