Location: Wichita, KS Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Taken over NEC 2400 IPS system I have recently taken over a company with 17 locations spread around 2 states. My problem is that one of the facilities has a password set that no one seems to know what it is. I can't find anything in manuals on how to reset the system password. Any help would be appreciated.

I need to contact the original vendor that installed the system and ask them for the information. Do they have a way to reset it or did they setup some type of secondary password during installation. What was not stated in original thread was that Original installer and my company are not associating anymore due to falsifying financial and hardware statements.

Rep Power: 4 ![]() | A knowledgable tech can do this for you but we don't post the way of doing it on open websites for obvious reasons. You can log on to the system and look at how it is programmed without entering the password, you just can't change anything. So if you don't know the RDA number log in and check Cmd 4010 de 1 de you will get the number of the built in modem. If you then approach NEC directly with proof you own the system. They can dial in and find out what it is.
