add on module(dss console)

I have an old ICS that has a dterm with a dss console or add on module, not sure on the proper name for it, that needs to add an ext on one of the buttons. ADSS will not work on this system. Is there another command that would work?

If memory serves the Addon module is always installed on the next len to the associated station and has a dummy extension number. You find this extension number and then use AKYD but I think the key numbering is skewed as some of the keys are programmed to the extension and the rest to the dummy. It's been a while since I had to do one and we only had one customer that used them.

You have to use AKYD to program the DSS Console. The DSS console uses 2 consecutive LENs although only the first one is jumpered. The first LEN allows you to program buttons 1 to 30 on the DSS and the second LEN is used to program buttons 31 to 60. Program the LENs with a TP of 1 and the prime line of the DSS should be the extension number of the associated Dterm. In AKYD, Button number 1 is the extension number of the DSS and Button 2 is the extension number of the associated DTerm. Buttons 10 - 39 in AKYD correspond to buttons 1 to 30 on the DSS. Buttons 31 to 60 are programmed on the second LEN on AKYD buttons 10 to 39.

Hope this makes sense. It can be confusing if you have not done it before.
