You could do an OAI link to the phone system for this since CTI adapters are not supported on the Ip phones, or you could wait a couple of more weeks until the new systems are released with the new IP phones that support XML.

NEC's PC assistant will work with outlook contacts!!

I have set it up and it works very well with outlook and does not require CTU adapter in phone.

Just enter the IP address of the PBX CPU and the IP address of the server. All done with TCPIP. No USB cords or adapters.

You install the 'server' software on 1 machine that is always on and can act as the server, then the client is installed on all other machines (requires a licence, like viewmail).

If only one user, the server and client can be installed on 1 machine.

Allows one touch dialing from outlook contacts, but does NOT work well with ACT 2005 or 2007 for the outbound calls.

It will however screen pop ACT or Outlook contact on inbound call.

I'm sure NEC has an online or CD demo, but as far as I know you will have to order the software in order to see it in action.
