| Junior Member | Distinctive Ring by Calling Number I know it is possible to have distinctive ringing, but can distinctive ringing be setup based on the calling telephone number. For example, if I wanted a special ring to come through only when a particular caller is calling me? Kinda like when Batman calls Commissioner Gordon - except without the Red Batphone.  |

| Junior Member  | If you are using the NEC dterm series phones then you can do it from the phone itself...When a call comes from the no: for which you need distinctive ringing , you can press the R-tone soft key and choose the ringing pattern you need....The next time the call comes from that no: the ringing tone would be different....This i have tried with 2000 IPS .Hopefully it should work with 2400 ipx as well.... |
